They will be required to have experience in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as, but not limited to, PHP, WordPress, and Java.

Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work by tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

·         Operates effectively as a member of the development team.

·         Responsible for the development of web applications and components.

·         Responsible for the design and development of web pages, using existing graphics, multimedia, GUIs and other digital assets.

·         Effectively develops in a clean, well structured, easily maintainable code format.

·         Utilizes storyboarding and graphic pre-designs where appropriate.

·         Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills.

·         Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments.

Required Skills:

·         Experience in developing websites and/or web applications. Minimum of 2 years of web design and development experience is required.

·         Practical experience in development of WordPress based websites, development WordPress themes, and/or plugins.

·         Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability.

·         Front-end and some back-end development experience.  More important is the experience of seamless integration of front- to back-end functionality.

·         Practical experience in development of XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SQL, PHP, and knowledge of semantic HTML and table-less CSS Web development – syntax and application.

·         Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment.

·         Desire to learn new and emerging technologies, and software development techniques, such as HTML5 and CSS3 if not already known.

·         High-level understanding of key components of WEB2.0 architecture (AJAX, social networking, blogs, et cetera).

·         High-level understanding of search-engine-optimization (SEO) techniques for various Rich Media Technologies with how web analytics is used to measure success.

·         Ability to convert designer's Photoshop files (or JPG/PNG files) to HTML/CSS templates used by WordPress / Joomla / Drupal and other web CMS frameworks.

·         Strong understanding of Content Management Systems

·         Self-motivating, and self-starter. Must work excellent independently.

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·         Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Preferred but not required:

·         Practical exposure to HTML5, and CSS3.

·         Practical experience in graphics creation with Photoshop, Illustrator, (Adobe Creative Suite), multimedia creation with Flash,
